American bicycle owner Magnus White, 17, died Saturday after he was struck by a car on a coaching trip close to his residence in Boulder, Colorado, USA Biking mentioned in a press release Sunday.

He was scheduled to compete on the upcoming Junior Males’s Mountain Bike Cross-Nation World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, on Aug. 10.
