Chandrayaan-3 Lunar Mission: ISRO Chief Invitations Residents to Watch Dwell Launch on July 14

The Indian Area Analysis Organisation (ISRO) on Friday invited residents to witness the launch of Chandrayaan-3 from the Launch View Gallery at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota, by registering at lvg.shar.gov.in/VSCREGISTRATIO.

Earlier, the Director of the Indian Area and Analysis Organisation (ISRO), S Somanath, introduced that Chandrayaan-3, India’s deliberate third lunar exploration mission, can be launched on July 14 at 2.35 pm from the Satish Dhawan Area Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

On the launch of Chandrayaan-3, Somanath mentioned, “On July 14 at 2:35pm IST, Chandrayaan-3 will raise off, and if every thing goes properly, it can land (on the moon) on August 23. The date is set based mostly on when the dawn is on the moon; it can rely on the calculations, but when it will get delayed, then we must maintain the touchdown for the following month in September.”

The Chandrayaan-3 mission is scheduled to be launched at 2.35 pm on July 14 from the Satish Dhawan Area Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-on mission to Chandrayaan-2 to reveal end-to-end functionality in protected touchdown and roving on the lunar floor.

The lander of Chandrayaan-3 is predicted to soft-land on the floor of the Moon on August 23 or 24.

He additionally mentioned ISRO’s prime goal was to allow a protected and tender touchdown of Chandrayaan-3.
